Hi there. My name is Irvin Lin and I’m a graphic designer and photographer. I specialize in print, packaging, environmental and logo/identity work. Most of the work I do revolves around food, as that’s one of my big passions in life. In fact, you can bounce over to my food blog to see what I mean.
However, you probably aren’t here to look at my baked goods or to find a new recipe for crazy cookies. You need a designer who will understand your needs and sensibilities and who has the experience to understand that design isn’t just about looks, it’s about concept and an underlying idea. Feel free to explore my portfolio which has samples of some of the work that I’ve done in the past 20 years (yeah, I’m older than I look).
I’ve won numerous awards for my designs (as well as my baking and food blog) and I’ve worked with some top brands (including Ben & Jerry’s, Wendy’s, Chili’s, Microsoft, Sony Playstation, Cost Plus World Market) as well as smaller independent brands. I recently spoke at the BlogHer Food conference about branding, marketing and graphic design for food bloggers. I’ve also moderated sessions on bringing blogs to mobile spaces and will be leading a session on social media (Twitter, Facebook and Google+) at the 2011 Foodbuzz Fest.
